Case Stable Secure and Efficient ZCNEST Helps Enterprises Upgrade Their Intelligent Warehousing

1/ Project Request

 

1. The project site is large. In the industry, manual distribution and transportation (such as transfer, loading and unloading, etc.) are commonly used, and the degree of automation for transportation is relatively low. The workload is high.

 

2. The customers have extremely high requirements for the security of data transmission. If traditional wireless WiFi communication is used for transmission, there may be security vulnerabilities, which cannot guarantee the overall data security.

 

3. In the project, unconventional materials need to be transported. Soft materials pose higher requirements for the accuracy and stability of the forklift AMR.

 

2/ Project Implementation

 

Based on the actual situation on the customer site, ZCNEST introduced customized gripper-type AMRs for the automatic storage and handling of paper-based soft paper packages in this project. Through Counterbalance AMRs, magnetic media incoming and outgoing materials were transferred for storage and retrieval, achieving automated circulation in the workshop.At the same time, optical communication was adopted within the site for information transmission, featuring long transmission distance, large communication capacity, good anti-interference performance, and extremely high security, fully meeting the customer's requirements.

 

Process Description

 

The WMS warehouse management system generates tasks and issues them to RCS;

 

The RCS scheduling system receives the tasks and dispatches forklift-type AMRs to perform the picking and delivering tasks;

 

The Forklift AMRs transport the materials from the shelf positions to the designated locations;

 

After the task is completed, RCS reports the completion status, and WMS updates the location information, and the forklift-type AMRs continue the next task or return for automatic charging.

 

By installing configurable optical communication devices on both the Forklift AMRs and the fixed equipment, the Forklift AMRs can interact with the fixed equipment within the designated range, and there are various signal interaction methods, which can timely achieve signal interaction, making it easy to realize intelligent connection of mechanical hands, automatic doors, conveyor lines, etc., full open up the entire process flow, and improving the handling efficiency.
